Two Senoritas
Two Senoritas was created to honor the Mexican Holiday "Dia De Los Muertos" or "Day Of The Dead". These two ladies are a symbol of love between mother and daughter or two friends. the older figure is on the left and the owl tattoo on her arm which is a colorful full sleeve signifies wisdom. The sugar skull on her back is one of the traditions of this colorful holiday. The figure to the right is a younger woman who is inked with a flying Cardinal and a Skeleton Cat surrounded by a sun and a moon with a smoking sugar skull on the bottom of her sleeve. The details are made by hand with small dots and are placed on the canvas for a 3D effect. This is an original painting with texture and vivid acrylic color reproduced into open edition prints and greeting cards. Created in 2012
