Charity Fundraiser: In 2008 Barbosa Art Studio raised $7500 for "Bright and Beautiful" a local pet therapy group to help maintain their training and education for the welfare of Patients throughout America. The artwork took about 1 year to create and it is now a permanent public collection on 3 floors of our St. Barnabus Health Care Facility in Toms River New Jersey. There are 3 original paintings of 12 Working Therapy Dog Portraits. The materials used are acrylic paint on gallery wrapped canvas - The works of art measure 24" x 48" each and are located on the oncology floor, outpatient radiology and the hospice waiting room.
